After having my phone lifted in Pattaya by a Katoy assisted by a guy on a bike I now need to buy a new phone and sim card.

The question is which network is better for coverage and cheap domestic / international calls

Also if anyone knows where there is a good place to get a cheap Nokia

If you go upstairs in big C and have a good look around you should be able to find yer phones new owner. I have always found that orange is very good

I've been using Orange for about a year now. Cheap calls, but since a while back I get SMS spammed almost daily. I have never signed up for anything and I don't know how they got my number.

Someone else posted a while ago about him also getting spammed by Orange and that Orange can not (or will not, more likely) put a stop to it. When I asked some of my friends who also use Orange, they confirmed that they are also getting spammed on a regular basis.

i dont have the spam problem with orange, because of a noncompatible phone, i.e. an old siemens,

do they charge for this spam?

Talk 1-2-3 works well and cheap for intl calls.
