According to general list of countries made by Thai government there is only small percantage of coutries for which touristical visum is not necessary if stay does not exceed 30 days.

This group is created by

1. Countries of "rich West" (European Union, USA, Canada, Israel, Japan or Australia), perhaps there is no risk that citizens of these counries will not work illegally in Thailand just because of better development of their home states.

2. Such oil kingdoms as Bahrain, Kuwait or  Qatar.

3 And finally neighbors as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Phillippines.

Since a lot of states should be admitted into European Union as new members on May 2004 (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania...etc)could anybody tell me whether the visa on arrival will be replaced by cancellation of visa duty?(stay without visa up to 30 days). I only add that for example Malaysia cancelled visa for Czech citizen before 8 - 10 years for stay up to 90 days and Singapore up to 15 days for touristic and social reasons.

Thanks for help
