Hyundai Parts Availability

Featured Replies

Hyundai used to have the reputation for not having parts available after Hyundai pulled out of Thailand.

Now that Hyundai seems to be back, are there parts available for older cars ('90s) or only for the newer ones?

If so, where can the parts for the older cars like 90s Sonatas be bought at a good price?

Thinking of buying a used Sonata... nice car at a low price, but are parts available?

Cheers!

Parts are always available, almost for every cars. Just have to know where. Many dealerships don't have parts in stock anyway. You'll find parts in Phatum Wan or Woraschak in Bangkok. If you living in Pattaya i can help you. Hiunday are in the lower price range in the used car market. But you have to be careful when you buy one. Don't buy the cheapest one you can find. Look at the condition, that's important., not the body. I talk about the thecnical condition. Don't buy headaches, many Hyundai have electronic and transmission problems. You need a code reader (scanner) and repair manuals to fix this cars. But most of the backyard mechanics don't have this kind of toys and f...with the wirings and the car can be a nightmare and will never run perfectly again. Pay a little bit more and buy a good one.
