Featured Replies

that was so bafflingly bad it was funny

Oh my word. I'm in shock! I couldn't wait for the hight parts. Sat here open-mouthed. And what about the intro - A woman who listens to music with her heart?!?

Oh, that Ken Lee is a one!

:o:D :D :D

I just know the original version by Nilsson.

OK dumb question here, what country does that come from? It's Bulgarian?

Alot of those people look kind of Asian to me, but what do I know?

A real tour-de-force.

OK BTW have we lost all female members of this forum?

Remember that woman that Clive James "discovered"? Margeurita Prakatan or something like that? She was so awful she was funny but at least she knew it. Well, I hope she did. :o

555! Yeah, I remember that. He used to wind-up the show with one of her songs.

"So it's goodbye Tokyo, hello London and take it away, MARGEURITA PRAKATAN!"

Did you ever read any of his stuff? Bloody laugh.

We had one like that on "American Idol" (which I never watch).

His name was William Hung I believe, and he became quite an internet phenomenon. I believe he even released a CD.

Did you see that?

He was way way worse than this lady, no comparison really, and he played it straight, apparently with no idea how bad he was.

:o

(And either do I!)

:D

I have read several of his books - fab! Also have him reading his own stuff on tape, makes it even more funny. He also did it complete and unabridged on Radio 4. Yeah, I'm a fan! :o

Oh, I never realised that he'd done some "talking-books". I'll have to look-out for those. I re-read "Unreliable Memoirs" a few months ago. Parts of that had me laughing out loud!
