This may be a technical issue actually, but I'm putting this in the general section because otherwise the people who need to see it may never read it... in just the last month, I've logged three different users out of their profiles on this forum sitting down at a random computer in the same Internet cafe I use!

This can be serious, folks! I could send messages from your profile to play all kinds of nasty tricks on you (if I were that type of person!)- and if *I* could do it, someone really nasty WILL do it! Hit that log out option before closing the profile! It MATTERS!

Remember me? YES/NO

If enabled, you will be automatically logged in again when you visit.

This is not recommended for shared computers.

Try getting in the habit of choosing NO when you get this message at the log in page.

It is set on YES by default, choose NO and you will automatically be logged out when you shut the brower window down.

Actually, this is a rather serious matter.

Not only the default setting of "Remmember me?" should be set to NO, but also, there should be a time limit implemented for each login, say 60 min., after which the member should login again.

Hopefully, the board operator will take into consideration the needed changes, and maybe will find a better solutions.

I agree, I'm surprised the default isn't 'no'.

If there is to be time out, perhaps it should be after an hour's inactivty, if possible. However, we do not want it to wreck carefully composed postings.

I wonder if any of these members do any "Internet Banking", the results there could be disasterous, people should really be aware of the security issues.
