Travel Insurance For A Thai To Oz

Featured Replies

Where can a Thai person going to apply for a tourist visa to Australia get a quote for travel insurance?

Is it best to put the quote in the application for a toursit visa?

Would this help the visa application?

Very easy – go to the Thai Visa Insurance site and request a quote :

http://insurance.thaivisa.com/quote-form

One should always take out travel insurance when travelling away from your home country even if the requirements of the host country do not ask for it - be responsible, it does not cost very much.

Yes it is allowed for sponsors and that is specified in rule 8 as shown below.

8) All advice voluntarily given by any member in any of the fora which constitute thaivisa.com is provided free of charge, and it is not permitted to either solicit for, or accept, donations, gifts etc. for providing such advice to visitors and members. Likewise, it is not permitted to either steer, or promote, or solicit people to go to locations or businesses in which it is necessary to pay for services or assistance with the exception of thaivisa.com sponsors, who may reasonably promote themselves.

Wouldn't it just be as easy to post up what the figures are for this tourist insurance ?

For most countries, this is not age specific unless over say 65 and thus the premiums are fixed. It would save each potential person having to make an individual application for what I think may be a standard quote dependent upon perhaps the level of cover and duration.
