Hi all

I am helping a friend move house on Sunday and I need directions in and around the Nana area.

Firstly, I will be exiting the freeway (coming from Don Mueang area) onto Sukhumvit Rd near soi 1. If I turn left into Sukhumvit Rd and then immediately left again into soi 1, can I get into soi 3 (Nana Nua) from Soi 1?

Also, if I can get out into soi 3, can I go straight over at the traffic lights into soi 4 (Nana Tai)? My friend's house is in soi 4.

Thanks.

get off the expressway.

Turn left onto Sukhumvit. Cross railway line, immediately turn left into Suk soi 1

Go down nearly to the end, turn into Bamrungrad and cut across the hospital (follow the cars), which will bring you out to Soi 3. Turn right into Soi 3.

Merge into one of the left hand lanes (but not the far left) and which will allow you to go straight across in the nana intersection straight into Soi 4.

Hope this helps.

OK This has helped a lot, Samran. Thanks a lot.

Do I have to actually go thru the grounds of Bamrungrad? Will I have to get an entry ticket etc from the guard?

no ticket necessary. It is a fairly well frequented route used by many people who know the area.
