At the moment Iam in Thailand on a 'b" class multi entree business visa, if I marry a Thai lady and have a child with her, with all the right registered documents, what requirements as far as work Permits do I need to work in Thailand?? are they still the same as usual or does my situation change anything???

Hi C-A -

You may obtain a work permit on the basis of an entry permit issued against any non-immigrant visa - Class O, or Class B.

Required documentation for work permit application is identical, either way.

My reply is based upon my firm having much experience processing both types.

Good luck!
