On Wednesday police from Sattahip station held a press conference to announce the arrest of four Thai males who have been charged with the attempted stabbing murder of an 18-year-old Thai man who is currently in a serious condition in hospital. The four men, aged 38, 33, 28 and 20, were arrested following a short investigation after the 18-year-old was attacked and seriously wounded on Monday evening. The victim was able to tell police he had been asked by the 33-year-old arrestee to go and murder the man’s minor wife. The victim initially agreed but then decided he couldn’t go ahead with the act. He was then set upon by the four arrestees and left for dead. Naturally, the four arrested men deny all charges but can’t explain why the 18-year-old was attacked by them.
