April 9, 200817 yr I went to immigration in BKK yesterday to get a re-entry permit (pretty simple task). It took me 3 hours waiting time to get one! The ticket system only goes up to 100 (701, 702..799), so after about 40 people when my number got called there were infact still 100 people in front of me! What are the longest wait times (for basic immigration stuff) that others have experienced?
April 9, 200817 yr my longest time waiting before seeing someone was about 20 minutes. My longest time in and out was about an hour.
April 9, 200817 yr 3 hours ! Pattaya Immigration would be about the same ... Including the bus trip from Bangkok Naka.
April 9, 200817 yr Was at Bkk irritation too yesterday. Ticket number was next in line. Happy days I thought. 1 and half hours. Was lunchtime though.
