I forgot to mention that the Hergé family is quick to sue. And usually they win.

LOL, don't be a pansy JB. The file isn't even hosted here.

Live a little. If anything they'd go after the author or the site where it's hosted. Also the printed version was freely sold around town for a while.

I think it's very well done, and you shouldn't try to censor the artist.. Talk about trying to be holier than the pope.

They already went after the author and they won.

The French printed version is still available in town but the author has nothing to do with it. He's done with Tintin. He even had to swear that he would never touch the Belgian hero anymore.

The Herge family is keeping an eye on him. I wouldn't like them to believe that he is responsible for this English version. He's had enough troubles.

as with all things commercial there is always a risk that 'fair use' may be interpreted differently by different people.

i have no interest in causing trouble for the herge's, the author, TV, me, you, or a fictional comic book character. i just thought it was cute and would be of interest to chiang maiers.
