Who, me ? Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 again, reckless driving leads to such a waste of life...Hope they learn and have more luck during their next life....RIP .
cali4995 Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 when you get older you get a little more protective of your personal self, here the increasing congestion of traffic combined with wanton disregard for traffic rules often creates horrific accidents. people still rarely wear helmets, even the silly half-shell things which do little more than keep the sun off your head. even walking down the side of the street creates some anxiety because so many of these folks are drunk and will of course simply flee if the strike a pedestrian. no insurance, no licenses, and tragic injury / loss of young life.
MisterFingers Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 It looks like they reassembled the bodies for a photo op. A senseless tragedy. I hope the woman who was driving the pick up gets off the hook if she's being honest. Already bad enough to have to live with that nightmare.
Mobi Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Driving around the lake at night can be a very dangerous experience, as I know to my own personal cost. Thank God I wasn't on a bike like those two poor folk were. Please all motorcyclists, wear your crash helmets, turn on your lights, and expect the unexpected when driving on the Darkside. RIP to the poor souls who died.
madjbs Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Unfortunately in this case a crash helmet would have made little difference. Very nasty accident.
