I will be arriving at Suvarnabhum (1st time), around 20.00hrs on the 03/06/08.

I need to be in Chiang Mai by the 07/06 but getting there before is no problem.

I have a few questions and appreciate any of your answers or suggestions. Thank you!

Questions:

Can I fly from Suvarnabhum or does it have to be Don Muang? If so, which is the cheapest airline (website)?

Can I get the train (I like trains)? Can I book online (website)?

Can anyone give me the weblink to the Nana Hotel. I need the page after http://www.nanahotel.co.th/html/index.html

I have a poor internet connection and this page won't load because the download.

Thank you!

You can fly from either airport I believe, most definately SuvarnabhumCan I get the train (I like trains)? Can I book online (website)? Airasia would probably be your cheapest option

Indeed, why would a woman want to stay at the Nana?

If you wanted to take the train then I would recommend the overnight sleeper to CM. Flying is an option, and quite a few airlines do fly, check their websites. Air Asia, Thai Air, Bangkok Air

Bangkok Air is currently running a 1000 baht one way promotion to CM I believe.

Do people really call themselves 'lady' anymore (outside of the transvestite in Little Britain, of course).

Anyway, based on the OP's chose nickname and considering her choice of resting place, I suspect there is a bit more to this 'lady' than meets the eye ;-)

Ladies in Thailand

Yes. But wanting to stay at the Nana does make a lady suspicious :o

Don't misunderstand me, sbk. I like the term when it is used by someone to describe someone ELSE.

But it's kinda weird when someone says 'I'm a lady' .. .. hence my reference to Little Britain

A proper lady would not take the train alone to CM nor would she stay at the Nana.

Best to overnight in the airport area and then fly to CM in the morning.

In case she might go 'off the rails', perhaps ? :o

A proper lady would of course get the chauffeur to drive her there, in the Rolls, or catch the 'Eastern & Oriental Express', although there might be a long wait, for that particular beauty.
