I used to go to a hairdresser on the left side of Thong Lo (if coming from Sukhumvit BTS), it is maybe a 10 minute walk from the BTS. Now, I live quite far away, but would like to go back to the place. However....the guy always wants people to make appointments. And, I really don't want to have to trek out all the way there just to make an appointment and then come back.

So, can anyone help me figure out the name of this place. The hair salon is run a a Asian guy who used to live in Canada (Vancouver I think). He gives himself a duel anglo/Asian name. Something like Johnny Lim or somehting like that. His nickname is also "the cut." His salan also doubles as a juice bar, Internet cafe, and photography/art studio. It is really the only place like it on the street. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I don't know this place but i use a guy on the corner of soi 20 next to the Auttaya bank. No appointment and he does a good job.

are you talking about abstract creations guy? I think the best way to id him is that he has less than 5 fingers on the hand he cuts with..if it's him you want I will give you the phone I am driving passed his shop everyday... I went there twice once he was nice but under my controll and the other time he messed me up tretty badly cut and color wise( tht's when I listened him bragging about how good he is as a personal stylist ) both times he was very very expencive 5 and 7000 bht for cut and color on short hair...
