I have a Mitsubishi G-Wagon 4WD Auto, was looking at putting a 2JZ in there and a LPG tank.

Does anybody know if I can keep the 4WD ?

Also, how much could I get for the existing engine (2.8 turbo diesel with autobox, no faults) ?

No 4wd won't work with JZ engines. You still can install it and even keep the level, but no 4wd.

I got 35k for my Toyota 2.5l engine, Mitsu will probably be cheaper. Probably a lot cheaper.

Search this forum for a thread about converting Mitsu pickup truck to LPG ("+lpg +mitsubishi +1jz +pickup" should bring the thread right to the top), there was a price somewhere on the third or second page.

I think you are mistaken, there was someone in an earlier thread with a 2JZ in a Land Rover Discovery using the OEM transfer box and still having use of the 4WD system.
