I'm surprised to realize I don't know if there is a Thai immigration office in Chiang Rai. I'm going to be trying for a 1 year visa extension based on marriage next week. Besides Chiang Mai, where else can I apply for this? Chiang Rai? Mae Sai?

Mae Sai immigration is on your left about a kilometer from the border on the Mae Sai Road.

I've found them extremely helpful on all occasions.
