Double Entry?

Featured Replies

i have a double entry tourist visa and i've already entered one time. I will leave the country within the 60 days, therefore using the first entry up. When I return, I want to stay in Thailand for only a week or so then leave again. I then want to come back into thailand at a later date(using the visa).

Comming back into thailand, do i have to use the tourist visa(second entry) or can i get a 30 day entry stamp then use the second entry(on tourist visa) at a later date?

visa info: issued feb 1 2008 - visa must be utilized before jul 30, 2008

first entry on may 8 2008.

You can ask and most times they will try to comply with your request not to use - but remember after July 29th it will be invalid for entry.

I see, so both entries have to be used before july 30? And If i get that 2nd entry in before that date then I get 60 days on tourist visa beyond july 30?

Yes. Also that 60 days can be extended for another 30 days at Immigration Office for a fee of 1,900 Baht.

You get the full 60 days and it can be extended - but entry has to be made before visa expiration date.
