US Action (?) movie about high-tech. stealth planes filmed in various parts of Thailand - including a waterfall a little outside Chaing Mai - even though they dressed the waterfall itself with potted flowers and vines etc. the site is distintive. Short cut to a list of 175 movies shot in Thailand Thailnad. I'm going to trawl through to see how many I've seen/know the locations of.
June 12, 200817 yr I think it may have been Good Morning Vietnam where I got caught up in the filming around 1986-87. I was staying at the Malaysia hotel in Bangkok at the time. The hotel grounds were made up with barbed wire, sand bags, jeeps etc. It was the most interesting check out of a hotel I’ve had. We were asked to crouch down behind the counter while i paid my room bill as they were filming outside.
