Chumpon To Samui Direct

Featured Replies

All the boats stop on Koh Tao and Koh Phangan before arrive in Samui

NO way to get from Chumphon to Samui without stopping at Tao or KPG first. To go direct you have to go further south to Donsak and then its a short hop to Samui. If you are driving then its not a bad drive, especialy from Surat to Donsak. Its around 2 1/2 hours extra by car so around the same as ging by ferry but instead of 4 + hours on a ferry you have 1 1/2 and I know I would rather spend the extra time riding than sailing. You could always charter a boat to take you direct but you are talking big bucks. Out of the 2 main ferry companies I choose Searan over Lompraya. They may be a little slower but the ride and the staff are far better, plus the last 3 times to Tao on Lompraya it broke down. Enjoy :o
