But in Germany (where i am from) the taxi is likely a Benz, or a Audi or other upper-class type of car. Not a rattling old Toyota where you have to be scared of it disintegrating at 80 km/h and that has no seat belts in the rear.

you forget that it starts disintegrate at 80 km/h but he drive 130 km/h

The distances between my condo in BKK to the airport, and from my apartment in Shanghai are approximately the same. In BKK, I pay 350THB. In Shanghai, the fee was the equiv of 1200THB.
