Problem transitioning from OA to O Non-Immigrant Retirment Visa
Thanks. Yeah, I now have the extension on my OA and will leave the country next year to kill it off. Yep, the bureaucracy is a bit frustrating, especially when you have to fork out hard-earned money for nothing. But as you say, it's just part of living in Thailand. I experienced the same thing in Mexico when I lived there for a couple of years. Lots of stuff that didn't make any sense at all, but just the way things were done there. I believe that initially I got poor advice from the consulate in Vancouver, but that's water under the bridge now. I'm looking forward to another year in the Land of Smiles. -

Russia’s economy is doomed
Mm… Russia’s inflation rate has fallen from about 18% 3 yrs ago to single digit today. Seems they’re managing well despite a rising GDP.Oil and gas revenues have returned to pre-conflict levels so lots of income coming in. Depreciation of the rouble has also helped exports. -

Another way to help to stop it would be at the airports, I see the question asked a lot, are vapes illegal.....? tourist actually discuss it in many FB groups and where to put them in their luggage, and how it is openly on sale in the likes tourist areas of Phuket, What many tourist don't understand is why vapes are illegal and there is weed shops every 50 meters and people openly smoking dope, -

What did you have for breakfast?
The only negatives there are besides an allergy to them, is eating too many eggs if you're someone with a high cholesterol reading. Eggs by themselves aren't what has people with high cholesterol but a lifestyle of bad eating and sedentary. Some look at eggs because eating too many can raise your cholesterol level but it's also what they've been eating all along. I myself eat eggs everyday now and usually had them at least 5 times a week before I moved here, and my cholesterol has always been normal. My lifestyle has always been healthy so that's the deciding factor. Some people swear by the Keto diet, which has people eating all the fats they want and leaving out carbs. This is a temporary diet which shouldn't be followed long term because of the problems they'll have with digestion eventually, yet they promote things which can hurt your heart health over time. Moderation is always the best choice, as a variety of all healthy foods are the best way to live unless you have an allergy to some.
