A project I'm working on requires the use of an Infra-Red blocking filter. These are used to make silicon imaging devices less sensitive to IR and therefore match the response of the human eye more closely.

I need a filter about 25mm diameter, Hoya HA-30 or Schott KG-1.

I can get them from the UK at 12 pounds a time, but the supplier wants 15 quid postage (no tracking) and 50 (yes FIFTY) quid if I want a tracking number, somewhat outside my meagre budget.

Bright ideas anyone, they've got to be available from scientific glass suppliers but I'm drawing blanks with my usual contacts :o
