Vitamin Supplements - Help!

Featured Replies

I've been living in BKK since April and I've been searching for supplements almost since then. I've checked GNC, Boots, Watson's, Tesco, Big C and some small shops. I'm looking for supplements that have at least 100mg of B1, B2 & B6. I want ones that contain vitamin C and no iron. Some of the supplements that I've seen show %RDA with no amounts. I've seen an Australian brand, Blackmore's that has very low amounts, yet says that it has 200 - 500% of RDA. If any of you have seen shops with good quality vitamins, please give me guidance. :o

Hi Nat

Not too sure if this will help, but just hear Siriraj Hospital there are a lot of shops selling vitamin supplements. Can I suggest you go down there and have a look?

Some of the local brands are much cheaper than imported, but I don't know if the quality is different.

Hi Nat

I been getting suppliments from www.goldenglow.com.au been using my visa card and never had problems with them in 12 years.

Advantages in this is that they get delivered to the door, via our friendly postie.

Even with postage they are cheaper.

Good quality suppliments.

They like to put adverts. all over the packages so its necessary to tell them not to.

The adverts attract the hounds at customs, average, customs pick them up about one in 6.

yesterday I received a yoghurt maker along with enough yoghurt culture to make 36 litres of yoghurt. This morning we had our first taste and its delicious. If you are interested in the yoghurt you can also check it out on www.easiyo.com

They also have low fat icecream.Hope all this helps. check out the web sites.

Regards Joe

i have posted a question previously without much response so i'm going to try again since a couple here seems to know of what they speak. the wife has an eating disorder for the last couple of years and here in us she drinks Ensure+ (its a high calorie drink with lots of vitamins) we will be returning to thailand in the spring to retire. ok thats a lot for basic question of has anyone seen ensure or know of a different brand that would do the same. OH she loves strawberry flavor :o

thanks

Just ask a pharmacist to give you what you need in separate tablets. They stock all sorts of things in massive containers behind the counter. They are usually about B2 each. Ok, so you have to take five tablets a day , but so what?
