Now that the main road from Thong Sala to Chaloklum in nearing completion, I am curious about future plans to develop Chaloklum.

Will the Chaloklum Pier get rights for a ferry service to Koh Tao or Koh Samui or the mainland?

What new businesses are planned for Chaloklum? Can we expect a good supermarket? A bank?

Is Chaloklum going to be promoted as Phangan's "Fishing village"?
