August 11, 200322 yr My friends [an english couple] will be 65 in 4 years and want to retire to Thailand do they both have to have a pension and cash or will there combind pension and bank deposit in there joint account count for both retirement visas. As you can appreciate to have to provide twice as much cash and pension would not be possible.
August 14, 200322 yr We are currently working through this with a new client. Will have an answer within 2 weeks, but the general view now, is that they will need either 1 deposit, checkable yearly of 800K OR not AND 65000 per month viewable income.
