Statutory Declaration

Featured Replies

A mate of mine wants me to supply a statutory declaration that I know him and his wife. This is no problem... However it needs to be accompanied by a certified copy of my passport.

Do I have to go to the embassy in Bangers to have a copy of my passport certified or can I get it done somewhere here in Pattaya? Maybe at the Thai Immigration or maybe the police station?

Does your country have a Consulate in Pattaya ? If not, you are probably Bangkok bound to do the job.

I had guessed as much, but didn't want to spend a day wasted travelling to Bangers and back just to find out later that I could have gotten it here somewhere..

You need to get a JP to certify the copy and unfortunately they don't have them in LOS. I reckon if you could find a lawyer who is a notary public in Pattaya, that should do the trick, ring them and ask.
