Hi

I have a bit of a dilemma with my wife's spouse visa for Australia. She suffers from depression and takes medication for it .We told the truth and stated this on her medical submission. She is my partner and mother of my child who i love and will always stick by and will not be a burden on the Australian medical system . I just worry they will use it to question her character ? anyone had problems with the medical side of visas?

Cheers

all you can do is try 350, the only problem I can see is a PBS issue which would see her getting medication at a reduced rate after she gets permanent residence, that may be perceived as a drain by a case worker

From memory the only health problem that will definately cause a problem is TB, even aids doesn't neccesarily stop a person from entering on a 309 visa.

read the "Partner migration" book it gives some guidlines on health related issues.

good luck
