Hey Guys, I'm Jamie and I'm from Sri Lanka.. We visit Bangkok at least 3 times a year and we stay at the Ambassodor Hotel In Sukhumvit..

I always wanted to know if there are good bike shops in Bangkok..

My bike is a 2007 Kawasaki KLX250..

I would like to know where I could buy original Kawasaki Parts for it as well as after market dirtbike parts.. Preferably close to Sukhumvit (10 Kilometer Radius is ok)

The one and only bike shop i'v been to is MOTOME..

Thanks alot and your information will be much appreciated!!

Jamie

Hi Jamie,

None of the good shops I know are in the center of BKK. And I am not aware of any licensed Kawasaki dealer.

However, my personal recommendation is world bike zone; a small shop, but owner and staffs a re very helpful. They might not have much on stock, but I am sure they can order almost anything for you.

Many people like the Red Baron, but my experience is that staff there is not that good

Biggest selection for anything related to dirt bikes is the Dirt Shop

Enjoy your shopping tour.

With the BTS and a bit of walking you can check out one of the two bike areas:

Just south of National stadium there's a warren of small shops with parts, I'm not sure about your specific bike, but they have lots of stuff. The other area is in Yaowarat (Chinatown), but you'd have to take a taxi to get there.

Check out BKKriders' shop page for more (boy, if Shinji were still around I'd demand a commission from how often I link people to this page!)

Oh ya, the Kawisaki dealer is on Rama 9, near the entrance to RCA. You can get close to there using the MRT (Rama 9 station) but you'd have to take a taxi from there.
