September 24, 200817 yr has anyone heard anything about a bus crash recently. I heard it was the regular 99 bus from Bangkok to Samui. Overturned somewhere near Surat.
September 24, 200817 yr has anyone heard anything about a bus crash recently. I heard it was the regular 99 bus from Bangkok to Samui. Overturned somewhere near Surat. Oh dear, hope not! brainless, irresponsible maniacs - the drivers...like several years ago, the one leaving Surat, running a red light on full speed into a pick up with approx. 10-15 passengers on the back...? the driver escaped..into the paddy fields.. people and limbs strewn all over the intersection - gruesome!

October 2, 200817 yr Author just confirmed with my Thai secretary that the accident was in the Thai news and newspapers. Apparently 1 fatality and several injured including a few foreigners. But I guess not big enough news for Bangkok Post etc.
