raro
BBQ Bob's off LK Metro Soi next door to Lolitas has great hamburgers. I have a fairly big appetite and I had a hard time eating his medium size. i i totally agree, bobs is the best Bob's has a new owner Dale, since October. Bob sold out and went back to Texas, his quality and off site management had hurt his reputation but Dale has brought the standard up using top quality everything including freshly ground chuck, no additives, smoked chicken and ribs are in my opinion the best in town. Dale has a background in Mexican foods and has improved the quality and taste of the Mexican dishes. Stop in and give it a try on Soi LK Metro. Lunch special is 1/4 lb burger with lettuce, tomato, onions fresh or grilled on a grilled bun with French Fries regular B130 special noon to 5 only B99. Substitutes allowed for French fries if on diet like me. I prefer the Cole Slaw. that's good to hear! I liked Bob's a lot when he first opened but as others also commented, his quality went steadily downhill. Still beyond me why he did not look after his restaurant a bit better. Anyways, will give it a try again!
RusticCharm
Amor's Restaurant off of Pattayaland Soi 2 makes a good Vegi-Burger.....no beef or other dead animals, fish or insects, whatsoever........... Good for your health and possibly for your "Karma" also.......... Think about it -- once you put all the condiments on the dead animal .........ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles, thousand island dressing, mayonnaise, etc. -- does the taste of the dead animal really matter? Why not just have a vegetarian Subway Sandwich with some phony BBQ sauce? Vegetarians are like Christians. Always trying to convert others. And just as bloody irritating! Considering his lowest priced beer is 75b Chang you would be better off to pay full price during his 2 for 1 happy hour.

Briggsy
Yesterday I bought a shrimp burger from 7-11 on Soi Bua Khao. Cost 22 Baht. Free mayonnaise and other sauces and free salad. It was great.
aussiechick
Just have to say OZ Burgers - the stand on the corner of Soi Dianna and Soi Buakaow has the best haurgers I have tasted in Thailand. Before you start - it is not just because I am an aussie. They are real patties with flavour, fresh buns and good lettuce and toato added. If you like chutney try the home made chutney - eat it on its own it is that good. They open late afternoon till the early morning. Well worth a visit!! bob4you
I had the burger at Mulligans on Beach road last night, pricy but good 400 grams beef, large toasted bun, tomato, lettuce, onion, beet root, pineapple, fried egg, Mammoth in size including fries which I could not eat. I asked for rare and got it that way then ended up at Bob's for 2 for 1 Heinekens B85. Great night out.
