October 17, 200817 yr For overnight delivery of medium to largish boxes/parcels, I recommend the govt local bus - terminal just inland from Bantai pier.

We need to ship around 50 medium boxes from Bangkok to Phangan. Do you think the local govt bus has the facilities to do that? do you have a contact phone for them in Bangkok?
October 18, 200817 yr Its the 999 Govt Bus, spike. 02-894 6122 ext 5 is the number I have for Bangkok. If that doesn't work, the Koh P number is 077-238-507 or 077-238-762

October 18, 200817 yr Try the wholesale-office in the back of Big-A supermarket. Sometimes they do things like that.

October 18, 200817 yr Try the wholesale-office in the back of Big-A supermarket. Big A's wholesale office has now moved into the main supermarket area at the front right. Limpipong is (finally) moving next door soon to bigger premises. Big A's wholesale prices are still generally better than Tesco's, but I don't see their retail prices coming down to levels that will take customers away from Tesco.
