bkkjames Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Just read this in the Bangkok Post and I must say I don't agree with the Gov's decision. IMO, Monday's have been somewhat more easy to live with since they removed all the street sellers for street clean up etc during office hours. I appreciate that tourists (and most likely all the Thais in my office) will welcome this return to sidewalk stagnation, I for one do not. Yesterday it was a pleasure to walk outside my office at lunch time without having to play dodge the dao with umbrella in hand between t-shirt hawkers and fried chicken sellers in my area. Alas, too good to be true and we will revert back next week.
bkkjames Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 Both sides of Suk??? All of Bangkok I understand, saw the news in Bk post or nation today.

DP25 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Thank God. Monday is my least favorite day of the week because of the lack of food vendors.
Checker Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I wondered why Victory Monument was nice and quite yesterday... and it looked clean.
