Seems Bedlam is a good place for this topic, fits well. My wife and I both work but her hours are longer and pretty much 7 days a week. I sometimes get frustrated about not seeing her often enough. I was talking with her today and she said she had a dream a couple of days ago. As she described it deja vu struck me, I had nearly the exact same dream and at the same time. Furthermore, her dream was at her viewpoint and mine at mine (guess that would be obvious).

Anyone have similar dream experiences like this or other deja vu type experiences?

I have read so many times that dreams are life's garbage disposal system, given that, it is not entirely surprising that a close connected couple have a similar dream based from their own viewpoint.

As an aside, some people in here know already that I was diagnosed recently as have having 'dangerously high' blood pressure (I was only going for a driving license)

I looked up the medication that I was prescribed and one of the side effects was 'vivid dreams'....... if you see me here at 4am, it may not just be a call of nature .... ever seen Flat liners.

What meds are you on, Thaddy? I take three meds for blood pressure and they haven't given me vivid dreams. Perhaps I ought to ask the Doc to change them

I'm sometimes left thinking that the cure may be worse that the disease, insomnia is another side-effect, and I don't get the thing about grapefruit at all, I view all fruit available on the local market with suspicious eyes these days.

Depends on what you're doing with the grapefruit!?!

I take nifedipine MR (Adalat) which the same as Procardia. I also take Atenolol and Bendrofluamethiazide. so I get wide blood vessels, a slow heart and I also get to wee a lot. Lucky me

The grapefruit thing is where something in grapefruit (no-one is quite sure what) interferes with the absorption of various meds into your bloodstream so that there's a much higher concentration of these meds than there would be if you didn't eat grapefruit. Best to stick to the orange juice.

Strangely enough I had a vivid dream last night. I dreamt I was walking across a scrub field in Chiang Mai when I found a bucket with a (human) head inside it. The cops took me to the police station. They were very polite but they wouldn't let me go even though they knew I didn't do anything other than find the bucket. Then I woke up.

Research on dream analysis has been inconclusive, however, many people put a lot of time and effort discussing and interpreting dreams.

I have the most extraordinary dreams but I don't think they mean anything. It's just my hard drive backing up and random bits get thrown out.
