Regarding Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid

Featured Replies

As noted I read on the 30th the official release of ubuntu's new version comes out. I know you can use the beta version still right now, anyways I'm sure many of you have seen the new details or improvements to it coming out. Of course wifi should work but you never know. Anyway my questions are:

1. Are you currently running this new version

2. If so what actual improvement did you notice and what things do you feel should still be improved

3. Did you get wireless working with little or no effort, without the prior issues that have be noted already in previous versions

4. Do you feel the new version is slower or faster concerning booting times and running multiple applications

Look forward to hearing you answers thanks

Yes the wireless works this time (finally!). At least, its working on the 64 bit version which is what I installed. I didn't notice any difference in speed from the last version (where I was running 32 bit) in general use.
