December 5, 200421 yr My wife's pregnant and a friend's just had their 2nd sprog. Some doctors/hospitals insist on a Thai name, others allow any name, so long as it can be written in Thai. This friend says the law changed a month ago (back to Thai only) but he's often full of sh** and we wanted to know if there were any other opinions or experiences out there?

No-one told us otherwise. How exactly would this law define a 'Thai name' ? I know some Thai-muslims with muslim names - these can sound more English than Thai - so I am thinking this law would be most untimely. If it smells like bullshit & it sounds like bullshit...
