Putu94 Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 As I promised to Lite Beer I will tell about the result of my extension. After a phone call it turns out that we have to go to Nong Khai ( registered in Khonkaen) First of all I want to tell that on the immigration office Nong Khai they where polite and helpful. (We where unlucky to have somebody before us with 15 passports , so all together it was waiting 5 hours.) There was a small problem. My first retirement visa I obtain in Hua-Hin So they needed to have a fax from Hua-Hin to renew the extension ( in 1 hour it was there.) Also I had a new passport ( the visa in the old one) But like I said they where helpful and changed every thing to my new passport ( 3 pages ) so I'm Happy that every thing is ok till 12 november 2009. For the 90 Day's we can go also to Mukdahan ( we rented a house in Mahasarakham) Greetings to your all
ubonjoe Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 You can do your 90 day report by mail. Remember that the reporting period is 7 days before or after report date. If you put it in the mail a week or so before report date it will be fine. Go to this page on immigration website for info. Note that the postage for the return evelope is now 10 baht. Some people use EMS instead of registered mail also. Link: http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/en/base.php?page=90days

They must have changed as they have a terrible reputation. I actually use Korat and will continue to do so until they tell me different.

But still a question; After renewing the retirement visa , I don,t have the lower part of Tm 47, there is only a little notice to report , is this sufficient to send instead?
