Multi Non-o Ending

Featured Replies

My one-year, multi-entry non-0 actually ended on 08 October. I went out and back in early Sept, so the 90 days I got then finishes on 06 Dec. If I leave on, say 04 Dec, will I get another (and final) 90 days on my return? If not, what are my best options:

1. Get a 60-day tourist visa? I believe the nearest places to get one of these are the Thai embassies in either Phnom Phen, Vientiane or KL? I'm told I can then extend it for 30 days at immigration in Chiang Mai (where I'm based).

2. Do a visa run to Burma for a 30-day tourist visa? I'm told I can do this twice.

I plan to return to UK next year to get another multi non-O, but want to delay my return as long as possible.

Advice, please.

No, your non O was only good for entry up to the 8th October.

1) Yes you can get 60 day Tourist Visas - Vientiane can issue doubles.

2) Depending on your nationality you can stay in Thailand using 30 day Tourist Visa Exempt entries for a total of 90 days in a six month period, starting from your first 30 day exempt entry.

Spot on advise.

The double entry Tourist Visa from Vientiene Laos will give you almost 6 months with extensions.
