Radar Traps

Does anyone know where to purchase a radar/speed detector unit. Any major store in the NEast or mail order anywhere else.

Have never seen one in a retail outlet in Thailand. Always assumed they are illeagal.

havent seen them in thailand either so i imported one, as for illegal even the cops dont seem to know what is and its sat on my windscreen,.

I meant that I thought they were illegal to sale or import for sale. As you say, I doubt the hiway police would know what one was. There really few radar traps and in every case I have seen one I was well warned ahead by oncoming traffic doing the Paul Revere thing with the headlights.
