Next year I will move up to Thailand. But after I move I can not benefit from our national health care anymore.

The first son of my wife is an civil servant and he said that he can put my wife on his book for benefit his civil servant health service. This will be a major money saver for me, but I'm not sure about the quality of government hospitals and I have some other questions about. I hope that someone can give some answer to my questionnaire below.

1- If visit a private doctor will they pay back, or must you go to a government hospital

2- if you are hospitalized and must have surgery, must you pay the bill first, or do they send it

straight to national health care

3- are there some good government hospitals in BKK?

4- which % you have to pay by yourself?

5- are there eventually private rooms available with an of course an extra cost.

6- do they also pay back the hotel costs, meaning the food and so on.

7- are the medicine needed while treated payed back.

8- what in case of a long life treatment like cancer, kidney diseases. What is covered.

9- what are the recommande government hospitals in BKK.

I know I asked a lot of questions, but I will fee very guilty if I deny my wife the same health care benefits as I have with my Private hospital insurance. But if she can have a good health care from the civil servant healthcare I can save a lot of money.
