Police and rescue units made their way to a residential area in Kow Mai Geow sub-district on Sunday Night to deal with a fatality.

At the scene, Police inspected the body of Khun Sunee aged 49. She was discovered by her cousin, Khun Sootinan who explained that she was pulled from a nearby drain. Following further investigation, Police suspect she passed out and fell into the drain head first and drowned.

A full postmortem examination is now underway to determine the reason why she was rendered unconscious as no signs of trauma were evident on the body.
