I'm surprised he managed to keep his glasses on .... what a spectacle.

That was his trade mark Patts, great band, great song.

They are on their road to nowhere........(as it seems :o )

Not true, David Byrne still produces music, and yes, its still weird. He recently came out with an album with Brian Eno called Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.

I loved the Talking Heads and a good friend of mine actually saw the Stop Making Sense tour live. I only saw the movie, and what an awesome concert movie it is, too.

Psycho Killer is one of the 4 songs I can play even after...well...midnight :o ...in a beer bar. Love it!

I was thirteen years old during the heyday of DB and Talking Heads, grew up on that (ques que sais), Nic Kershaw (legend), Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil, Acca Dacca, Aussie Crawl, inxs, & then graduated to rick asyley, tina turner, etc .... from there to sig sig sputnik, those guys with beards, violent femmes, dead kennedies (hoilday in Cambodia & too drunk to fuc_k) through to carl cox, leftfield, oekenfold, with ice cube, johnny rotten, hall & oates, george michael, young MC, etc thrown into the mix.

Donna Summer! Hot stuff.

Gloria Gaynor.

<deleted> happened? :o

I only really got to know them around 2004 when I came across a housemate who kindly let me inspect his vast music collection.

Talking heads were quite simply a brilliant band.

Agreed. They were that bit different, and still very talented...
