Old Books

Does anyone know where in Bangkok I could sell or even give away my old books, mostly paperbacks in english.

I've got at least 20 kilos of them to get rid of. Mostly cheap sci-fi/fantasy novels.

I noticed a few used book stands along sukhumvit but not sure if they buy too, and if they do, I'm not sure what they'd do if I showed up with more than their whole inventory.

Just plain throwing them away is against my religion.

try the used book stores on khao san road, there are a few

yes there is a old-book-store near 7-11 on Khaosarn Road-in the soi to Hippie De Bar if i got it right

Elite Books is the classic used book store on Suk. Near Phrom Pong BTS steps between sois 33 and 31. Don't expect to get very much for your books, though.

I agree, I took a load of good quality books along and was offered a derisory sum. I then spotted a request by the British Council who were holding a book sale for charity and needed books so all my books went there. I hope they are holding another one soon as I have a stack of books I want to get rid of.
