george
I am looking for a way to run Linux within Windows Vista. The reason is I need to run a software application that just works under Linux, but need Vista as primary O/S. I found this article: How To Install and Run Ubuntu Linux Inside Windows http://www.pcmech.com/article/how-to-insta...inside-windows/ Have any of you Linux gurus tried this? george
Thanks a lot, bdenner. My Ubuntu 8.10 desktop is now up and running. I just followed the instructions, and it was easy. Cheers
