Police Lieutenant Colonel Pairot, a Deputy Superintendant attached to Region 2 Police, conducted an undercover operation at a house in Nong Plai Lai sub-district which was thought to be the residence of a Husband and Wife couple involved in supplying class 1 drugs.

An undercover operative posing as a customer attended the location to purchase Yabba Tablets with marked bank notes. When the transaction was complete, the signal was given for officers to move in and a comprehensive search of the house took place. A loaded firearm and 2,000 Yabba Tablets were seized.

Khun Sutichart aged 41 and Khun Vilailan aged 40 were arrested and charged with the supply of class 1 drugs at the nearby Banglamung Police Station who will take over the case and process the couple in accordance with the Law.
