Non Imm O Visa Extension

Featured Replies

I have a multi entry non imm O visa which expires in November 2009. I understand my maximum single stay in Thailand is 90 days and usually this is no problem......However...On my next trip I will be staying for about 150 days.

Can I get a 60 day extension without leaving Thailand

I'm over 50 yo and reside in Hua Hin

Thanks

You will have to do a border run before the 90 days is up to get another 90 days.

Or apply for a exstension for a year, if you can show an income of 65,000 baht a month or a total of 800,000 in a Thai bank account or a combination of both totaling 800,000. The 800,000 in a Thai bank acocunt would have to be there for 2 months prior to aplying for an extension.

Income from abroad can be shown with a leter from your embassy confirming your income.

If married to a Thai or have a child with a Thai you can get a 60 day extension.

Otherwise it's a border run.
