Driving Question For Bangkok Residents - Asok/sukumvit

The misses and I are driving to Bangkok next weekend and staying on Suk Soi 19. I haven't driven in Bangkok much, so I got driving instructions from Google Maps. These instructions say that I can drive south on Asok (from Rama IX) and then turn right on Suk 21 Soi 3 to get to Suk Soi 19:

21. Continue on Asok Montri

22. Turn right at Sukhumvit 21 Soi 3

23. Turn left at Sukhumvit 19

My recollection is that a right turn on Asok is impossible there, but I'm not sure....

No problem turning right there. It might take you a while, but there's definitely no problem. It's also easy to miss, but there's a 7-11 on that corner, the first one you'll see after Kasikorn on the right. You can also take the next right, Asoke 1 (AKA Sukhumvit 21 Soi 1), which will bring you out further down Suk 19.

No worries. Lol - Watch out for the two motorbike cops discussed in the other thread. One of their favorite spots is at the end of Asoke 3 near Wattana Church. Have a safe trip and enjoy Bangkok...
