Many thanks to all who told me that a multiple entry non-imm visa was a non-starter (especially in Singapore!). As I already have Thai driving licences valid for 5 years, my car, bike, house, etc, I do not really need a multi non-imm visa and would be happy with a multi tourist visa - it just means extending/doing a visa run more often (at least until I am near 50 when I can apply for a single non-imm). Any reccomendations on where to go for the maximum number of entries / longest validity on a tourist visa? I have multiple entry non-imm visas (issued in UK) every other year in my passport, showing that I have spent roughly a year here and a year in UK for the past 10 years - this may be a help or a hindrance, I don't know! Again, any advice much appreciated.

Other than heading back to the UK................your best bet is Penang.
