Bit of a strange question, but I'd appreciate any help. I'm trying to find second hand motorbike inner tubes, they need to be large diameter, so they're a little difficult to find, because these days most large bikes are tubeless.

It doesn't matter if they're damaged, in fact this is better because they are usually free. Any ideas? The use has nothing to do with motorcycling.

Yeah, this is an odd duck request. As you mention, most bikes are tubeless these days. In fact the only bike rims which still use an innertube are the classic wire spoke type. And the only ones that still use that style are harley davidson or other choppers. Try checking around a Harley shop or chopper shop and they may have some. What exactly are you using these for? And couldn't you use car innertubes instead?

Thanks for the help. Car innertubes are also hard to find and I think the diameter is too big. Unless you can think of a model with small inner tubes?

I need something just under 4" (before being stretched). I am cutting them into pieces and using them as sleeves for sealing bamboo and PVC...long story, difficult to explain. I need something very flexible, because bamboo comes in different diameters.

I presume anything with spoked wheels will be suitable. Check out some trials bikes as well, maybe some events near you or a couple of members who can help?

So maybe somewhere dealing motorcross/enduro bikes? I managed to get one inner tube and I'm guessing it came from an enduro bike.

Yeah, I forgot about motorcross bikes...if they have spokes, it would work. And the diameter of the wheels you are looking for would fit an enduro. The harleys and other chopper bikes have fairly big, wide tires (at least more than 4 inches). How about a bicycle tire? for mountain bikes? Would that be too small?

Bicycle tires are definitely too small. Ideally I'd like something with a 3.5" diameter (before inflation). It needs to stretch and have a tight seal, but if the diameter is too small, stretching is difficult.

Is there anywhere that specializes in motocross tires? Old inner tubes would be great, but if necessary I'd buy new ones. The one I have at the moment is a locally made IRC.

Any idea what size inner tube would be suitable? As mentioned, it's best if they're 3.5" diameter. Someone said 300 would be an OK size. Any ideas?
