Land border entry: Do I need an agent (or worst case e-Visa)?
Although not an expert to the degree others are, I am adding some additional points since my own circumstances have some common points. @DrJack54, et.al. can chime in if I am wrong. Since you intend to get another non-B, you need to ensure you don't do anything that would jeopardize your next non-B visa. Number one, ensure that you leave the country before midnight 28 January to avoid overstay. Number two, ensure that your current employer cancels your work permit with the Department of Labor and provides you documentation of the cancellation. As I understand, failing to do either of these might impact non-B process down the road. -

Visa Agencies vs. Self-Service Border Runs – Is There a Real Benefit?
As long as the current relaxed visa waiver scheme goes on, not much point to spend extra money on the broker. In the past, I have relied on those agents a few times though. After September 2006, Thai immigration started to become much less friendly toward the long term visa-waiver(visa run) expats. Saying no continuous stay more than 90 days out of 180 in a year(in case of visa-free entrants). Then a lot of peoples started to switch to Tourist Visa(from Thai embassy in the neighboring countries). Eventually, Thai embassies started to limit the numbers of the Tr Visas they issue to one foreigner. I actually know someone who got No More Tourist Visa To You Stamp on his passport back in 2013. And it turned even worse after military takeover in the summer of 2014. Visa-waiver entry was allowed only Twice in One Calendar Year. They also started to demand additional papers to apply for the Tr Visa at their embassies as well(return ticket, hotel reservation etc). That practice went on till the end of its regime in 2023. Compared to the 2008-2023 period, their visa policy changed completely as you can see today... -

Meet Wise Interest
My app may be different. On the main EUR balance page exactly half way down the page, there is a horizontal bar with 2 options on it: 'TRANSACTIONS' and 'OPTIONS'. Click on the 'OPTIONS' if you have it. Everything else follows from there. Sorry I can't do a screenshot, which would make it a bit easier. -

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
Ridiculous political grand standing and protectionism from the self proclaimed free market leader of capitalism. Poor Americans forced to pay more for inferior products but, you know, USA! USA! USA! The rednecks will be happy. Pay more for a terrible Ford than get a great BYD. I hope China bans Teslas, Apple and other American products in response. Trade wars don't end well for anyone but if Trump or Biden is dumb enough to start one then let them fail. And of course I am sure Musk has no hand in this, no siree, no conflicts of interest there. Meanwhile the rest of us will be able to buy superior products at good value prices. Let America drown in its own nationalist excrement. -

Did Joe Biden really get this much wrong during his presidency?
The pull out method has worked well for so many men over history. 🤣
