It's a small cam-corder strapped to the side of the helm.

The film depends on how big your memory chip is.

With a 16 Gig. chip I get 4 hours shooting at 640 x 480 res. (the highest it goes up to) :o

You can enquire and order them from Red Baron Bangkok, but be prepared to pay the piper!

Best method is to bring them in or order from abroad.

Mounting them to a helmet is a test of ingenuity and bloody-mindedness though!

Thank you JimsKnight,

Heading for both places Jun/July. Do you have any footage of either Hua Hin or Cha am at night or difficult enough to film by day I imagine.

Regards.

I tried night shooting but the lens on the camera isn't really big enough for night-work. Unless the streets are flood lit. The ordinary streetlights don't pour out enough light. Instead you get a tunnel-effect with the area around the headlight near-pitch black.

I'm struggling to upload some Cha-am data onto youtube but the upload keeps failing.
